Get on the Bare boat Express to Fort Jefferson and Dry Tortuga's National Park


Just 70 miles to west of Key West, lays this beautiful natural wonder. Our trip begins sailing from our marina in Key West. This cruise takes us along the south side of Key West in hawk channel Or through the gulf of Mexico west. Whichever is more favorable for wind and seas. Passing many beautiful keys along the way the last key is Marquesas’ Key, about 17 miles west of Key West. We can drop anchor here for the night. The next morning after breakfast and coffee we are off sailing all day crossing the quick sands and Rebecca Channel seeing dolphins sea birds along the way arriving at Fort Jefferson by 7pm  Our approach brings us in from the north East to Iowa Rock and then through the marked channel and into the anchorage. Spending the evening on the boat setting under the most beautiful sky we turn in. The next morning day 3 we can dingy in and you can tour the fort see the on sight museum and visitors center its your day to snorkel sight see sail or just hang out on the boat watching the sea planes land and take off. On day 4 we get up with the sun and get underway sailing back to Key West in one shot.

This national park covers 100 square miles. Garden Key is the 2nd largest island of the the Dry Tortugas and home to Historic Fort Jefferson. We will dingy in the following morning, here you can tour the fort, check out the visitors center and snorkel. Snorkeling is really something to see here, pristine living coral and abundant marine life.

The pricing on this trip has been set at $750.00 per day for 2 guests and a minimum of 4 days is required, but if you would like to stay longer or take more time exploring the area that is possible too. Snorkeling equipment will be provided, however food is not included in the above price. The price was determined based on 2 students, it is possible to take 1 other person with a slight adjustment in the price. It is also possible to take ASA classes on this trip ($250.00 for 103 coastal cruising and $250.00 for Bare Boat)  Our 33′ Morgan out island is ready to take you on this amazing adventure. She has Air Conditioning, Large refrigerator freezer nice shower and a very comfortable V birth cabin. Placing a 50% deposit will hold your reservation. As with all our adventures the wind speed and direction will dictate the amount of sailing and or motor sailing necessary to attain a minimum speed.
